Here’s my tip on how to lose 10 pounds fast, are you ready? Stop eating and run for three days straight. That’s right, starving yourself can cause you to gain weight. How so you ask? When you starve yourself you slow your bodies metabolism down to a crawl. It makes perfect sense if you think about it; there is no food coming in, and so your body needs to conserve energy to maximize the amount of time it can sustain itself before new sustenance arrives. It’s an evolutionary reaction to lack of food, and while it may have helped us to survive as a species for millions of years, it now makes dieting a pain in the arse.

So you’ll lose 10 pounds in no time at all when you stop eating, or seriously reduce your calorie intact, but when you resume a normal diet your body will rejoice and take the opportunity to store as many energy reserves as possible while it can before the next starvation period. And energy reserves means fat. Diet pills and appetite suppressants are just modified starvation diets; as soon as you stop taking them, you’ll put on a lot of weight fast. So unless you want to starve or take dangerous pills all your life, you should take a different approach to lose 10 pounds.

I’ve found that regular exercise and eating frequent yet small, healthy meals and snacks is the way to go. Doing this you can lose 10 pounds in no time at all, and it’ll stay off. More importantly, it’s also a healthy way to lose weight.
